Excessive Sweating

Excessive Sweating

Sweating is a normal function of the human body. When excessive sweating occurs at inappropriate times, it is called hyperhidrosis. This can have a significant, negative impact on how you feel, what you do and what you wear.

You are not alone. Hyperhidrosis affects up to 3% of the population and can be treated. Often, people try hiding it or altering their activities. Most people have already tried antiperspirants.

With a simple injection of a purified protein, sweating in that area can be stopped. It takes a few days to work, but the results are dramatic. On average, there is an 80% reduction in sweat production in the area which lasts on average seven months. Remarkably, up to a third of patients can last one year until they return for further treatment. Therefore, you are treated once or twice a year and don't have to worry about constantly treating that area.

Costs of Hyperhidrosis treatment:

Both underarms - $900

At this stage we are not treating hands and faces. These areas are more complex to treat, have less successful outcomes and more side effects.

This is one of the most effective hyperhidrosis treatments with no major side effects. For more information on the advantages and disadvantages of other treatments, please click here
